In the excitement of the U=U movement, questions have been raised about HIV transmission through breast/chestfeeding. The need for more information and discussion on this topic has been identified.Join us for a dynamic and informative presentation on the science behind HIV transmission through breast/chestmilk, a discussion on the implications for practice and policy, and an introduction to a new set of tools that will facilitate discussion on this topic.

Multicultural Health Fair

 

Join us for the second annual Multicultural Health Fair, Building Health and Wellness with Diversity at Innovation Works from 12:00PM-5:30PM.

The event is a holistic approach to health and well-being focused on building individual and community resilience. There will be engaging discussions and exciting wellness activities planned for the day including cultural nutrition, mindfulness/ yoga, and cultural performances from local student groups and more!

International Women's Day Art Exhibit

 

In celebration of International Women's day, the RHAC women's group is sharing their work in a group exhibition.

Using the arts and narrative storytelling as a platform for community change, women living with HIV, and women at increased systemic risk for HIV acquisition use creative models to engage one another, community organizations, and the broader community in discussions of stigma, disclosure, harm reduction, gender-based violence and community and emotional wellness.

The 64th annual Tachycardia, a special community musical theatre event hosted by Schulich Medical and Dentistry Students, is back again this year!

We are grateful for the support of the Schulich students in this exciting fundraiser. Proceeds from Tachycardia go to support our programs and services, such as Open Closet, a support group for LGBTQ+ youth.
